Calibrated Reflectance Reference Panel for Accurate Multispectral Data Collection
The Reflectance Panel for DJI Mavic 3 and Phantom 4 Multispectral is a calibrated reference panel designed to improve the accuracy and consistency of multispectral aerial data. It provides a controlled reflectance surface across visible and near-infrared spectral bands, allowing operators to compensate for changes in ambient lighting conditions during drone-based data collection.
For best results, images of the reflectance panel should be captured immediately before and/or after collecting multispectral imagery. These reference images can be used during processing to calibrate multispectral data and generate more accurate reflectance measurements for mapping and analysis.
The panel is compatible with the DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral and DJI Phantom 4 Multispectral, as well as compatible Sentera 6X and 6X Thermal systems. When used with Sentera FieldAgent Desktop software, reflectance panel imagery can be incorporated into multispectral mosaic processing to produce calibrated five-band TIFF data.
