The GEM DRONEmag UAV magnetometer (GSMP-35U/25U) was developed by GEM Systems as the first lightweight, high-sensitivity magnetometer specifically designed for UAVs. Weighing less than 1 kg, the GEM DRONEmag UAV magnetometer has been successfully installed and tested on the Monarch Fixed-Wing Gradiometer, GEM Copter Multi-Rotor UAV, and GEM Hawk Helicopter UAV — opening new avenues for magnetometer surveys across a wide range of platforms.
