Practical (1.5 days)

Hands-on flight training includes time on multiple aircraft types, including DJI Mavic 3E, DJI Avata, DJI Mini 3, and others.

• Core maneuvers: Controlled take-offs and landings, hovering in place, directional movement, and controlled yaw.
• Intermediate skills: Smooth altitude changes, coordinated turns, and combining movement inputs.
• Basic patterns: Square and figure-eight patterns while maintaining spacing and orientation.
• Precision flying: Maintaining position over a defined point and holding steady while adjusting camera direction.
• Pre-flight procedures: Site setup, aircraft checks, battery management, and launch and landing discipline.
• Emergency procedures: Return-to-home (RTH), loss-of-link awareness, and low-battery response.
• Camera awareness: Basic gimbal and camera use while maintaining safe aircraft control.
