The BL-CH4 methane detector is a lightweight, high-precision gas detection payload designed for drone-based methane leak inspection. Using TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) technology, the BL-CH4 enables rapid, non-contact methane detection from the air — even in complex industrial and urban environments where ground-based inspection is impractical or hazardous.
Capable of identifying leaks from up to 300 meters away and concentrations as low as 5 ppm, the BL-CH4 methane detector provides fast, accurate leak localization while keeping personnel safely out of hazardous areas.
