The DJI O4 Ground Station is a universal video transmission base station designed for DJI OcuSync 4 enterprise drone systems. Built to support both Network Base Station and Relay Station modes, the DJI O4 Ground Station extends reliable video transmission for dock-based drones, manually flown drones, and remote enterprise operations across urban, mountainous, and signal-challenged environments.

With support for multi-frequency transmission, 4G access, third-party device integration, and low-power standby, this enterprise transmission system is a professional infrastructure solution for teams that need dependable connectivity in the field. It connects drones, docks, controllers, and DJI FlightHub 2 — giving operators greater flexibility, broader coverage, and more reliable links across demanding environments.

DJI O4 Ground Station: Built for Extended Enterprise Coverage

The O4 Ground Station supports automatic switching across multiple frequency bands — sub-2G, 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz, and 5.8 GHz — maintaining strong transmission performance across varying conditions with a maximum range of up to 40 km.

When paired with DJI Dock 3, the O4 Ground Station significantly extends the single-station coverage radius, expanding operational reach for remote inspections, public safety missions, security patrols, site monitoring, and emergency response deployments.

Network Base Station & Relay Station Modes

This base station supports two key operating modes:

Network Base Station Mode: Connects to DJI FlightHub 2 through Ethernet or the DJI Enhanced Video Transmission Module, enabling broader coverage and allowing pilots to control drones through FlightHub 2's virtual cockpit within the coverage area.

Relay Station Mode: Deploy the unit at an elevated location to extend video transmission in areas with no network coverage or severe signal blockage — ideal for mountainous terrain, obstructed environments, remote worksites, and areas where direct transmission is limited.

Designed for Harsh Environments

Built for long-term outdoor deployment, the DJI O4 Ground Station carries an IP67 protection rating and operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 55°C — suitable for year-round enterprise drone operations in the most demanding field conditions.

A smart low-power mode automatically enters sleep when no aircraft is connected, reducing standby consumption to approximately 7 watts. For off-grid deployments, the unit is compatible with DJI Power solar supply solutions and third-party photovoltaic power systems.

Open Integration for Advanced Workflows

The DJI O4 Ground Station goes beyond video transmission. It integrates with standard network cameras, supports ESDK and Cloud API workflows, and connects to third-party ADS-B or Remote ID receivers through MQTT protocol — making it a flexible infrastructure component for situational awareness systems, remote monitoring, and integrated command centre workflows.
